Literary Game Night – Feb. 23rd

Calling all bookworms and word game lovers!

Join us for Literary Game Night on Friday, Feb. 23rd, from 6-8 pm

Feel free to bring your own personal favorites. This is open to all ages, though most games are intended for ages 12+.

Copies of the book are available at the library. Book discussion will take place on Monday, Feb. 26th, at 2 pm.

Book Club is open to all, attend as often as you would like.


Author Shawn Otto – Feb. 15th

Welcome Minnesota author Shawn Otto to the library on Thurs., Feb. 15th, at 6:00 pm.  He will be discussing his book The War on Science, winner of the 2017 Minnesota Book Award for non-fiction.

Movie Groundhog Day – Feb. 2nd

Join us for an afternoon movie this Fri., Feb. 2nd, at 1:00 pm

We’ll be showing Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.

Phil (Bill Murray), a weatherman, is out to cover the annual emergence of the groundhog from its hole. He gets caught in a blizzard that he didn’t predict and finds himself trapped in a time warp. He is doomed to relive the same day over and over again until he gets it right.
Rated PG.

Harry Potter Book Night – Feb 1

Hot Reads for Cold Nights

Hot Reads for Cold Nights Starts Today!!!

Join in our Hot Reads for Cold Nights winter reading program for ages 14 and up. There are prizes, weekly drawings, optional challenges, fun programs, and a Grand Prize drawing.

Come to the library and register, you’ll receive a punch card and instructions to get started. The program runs from Jan. 22 – March 31st.
