Last night’s storm knocked out the Library’s power. As of now, it is still out. We will be closed today, Friday, September 21st. Roaming Readers will also be canceled, as we have not heard any reports on trail conditions. Stay safe, everyone!

Food for Fines – September

Have fines on your library card?

Clear those fines and help the local Cannon Falls food shelf at the same time.

We’ll be accepting unexpired, non-perishable food items for fines the month of September. 1 food item = up to $1.00 overdue fine.

The donations are good only on overdue fines from Cannon Falls Library and will not apply to damage or lost fees.

Come browse the great selection of items.

We will accept donations of items Aug. 20th – 23rd only.
Donations must be clean and in very good condition.
We will accept Books, DVDs, CD books and CD music only.
Only 2 boxes or bags of books will be accepted per person.

We will not take magazines, text books, video games, cassettes, VHS tapes, Reader’s Digest condensed books, Encyclopedias, smelly/moldy books or anything published before 2010.

Volunteen Work Day – Aug. 22nd & 24th

Teens come help re-paint the YA area of the library and re-upholster the furniture. Wear clothes that can get all painty.
A pizza lunch will be provided.
