Inktober and Botober
The goal is to improve drawing skills and develop positive drawing habits. While there is an “official” list of drawing prompts released each year, following them is optional.
This year an Artificial Intelligence program called GPT-3 created additional prompt lists to choose from. The AI was shown a large database of past year’s lists, and then was asked to create its own. The results were… interesting. Share these creations with #Botober. #Inktober and #Botober drawing prompt lists are available to pick up in bookmark form at the CF Library, or on the CF library Website & Facebook pages.
The Cannon Falls Library wants to fill our windows with the best Halloween monsters we can find, and we need your help! We need you to create and color the coolest, creepiest, weirdest, funniest, most spine-chilling creatures imaginable!
You can draw your own creature, or every Friday in October, you can stop by and pick up a monster coloring sheet at the front of the Library. Once your creation is complete you can email Alexa a picture of it at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can drop off your drawing in our book drop at the back of the library (if you drop off a physical copy you will NOT get your picture back). Once we have your creations, we will put them in our front windows!
You can submit as many monsters as you like!
