As Minnesota’s Jack Sparrow, Joshua Godfredson’s impersonation of Captain Jack Sparrow thrills kids and adults alike. Don’t be surprised if you accidentally learn some REAL pirate facts from this history buff, he spends a large amount of time teaching Pirate History to schools and historical events from coast to coast.

Brass, a therapy dog trained by Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and owner Sadie Simmons, will be at the library select Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm.
Free private reading sessions are available for your child to read to Brass, whether to practice, improve skills or just for fun!
Registration is required for a 20 minute session, and sign-up is available in the library or by calling 507-263-2804. Walk-ins are taken, if the sessions are not full.

Couch to 5K – June 11th to Aug. 16th

This summer the Cannon Falls Library is offering a Couch-to-5K program, designed to help beginner (or lapsed) runners work up to being able to complete a 5K, injury free. Each participant will receive a complete training schedule that includes strength & flexibility
routines and helpful tips. Newcomers are welcome to join at any point in the program!
WHERE: Riverside Park
WHEN: every Tues, Wed, Thurs, & Fri at 8:00am June 11 — Aug 16 (except 4th of July week)
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable shoes, water and clothing appropriate for the weather
COST: This program is free and open to all ages and abilities!
*All participants must sign a waiver.
