Come for one, or all three movies.

All children 8 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. The library staff is not responsible for supervising your children.

Author and woodworker, Spike Carlsen, will be here to discuss his most recent book, “Building Unique and Useful Kids’ Furniture.”
The event is free and open to the public and all are welcome.
Spike will talk about some of the more unique projects from the book, build a simple storage project for stuffed animals (and give it away!) and discuss how furniture can be not just functional and attractive, but inspirational.
Books will be available for purchase and Spike can sign ‘em.

Cannon Falls Library will host antiques and collectibles appraiser Mark F Moran for What’s It Worth?
Mark specializes in vintage folk art, Americana, and fine art.
Pre-registration at the library is required for appraisals, but spectators are welcome at any time during the event. To have an item appraised, you must register in advance, so hurry to reserve your spot. Call the Cannon Falls Library at 507-263-2804 to register. There is no cost for items appraised at the library on the date of the event.
Types of items you may bring:
Fine art, Furniture, Ceramics, Glassware, Vintage photographs, Advertising, Folk art, Assorted toys, Metalware, Clocks, Costume  jewelry, Musical instruments, Books, and Sporting memorabilia.Excluded items: all weapons, including swords and knives (folding knives with advertising are accepted); traps (like leg-hold); Nazi memorabilia; coins and paper money; fine jewelry, including precious gems.
