Come join Larry Richie for his program about the Upper Cannon River Basin. Larry is a local archeologist who has spent years researching the area and history of the Cannon River. His program will discuss how glaciers formed the basin and the role they played in shaping the waterways.

LuAnn will guide us on a leisurely “weed walk” along the Little Cannon River. We will search for typically over-looked or undesirable plants (weeds) that can actually be used for a variety of purposes. You’ll be amazed at how many edible and medicinal plants are growing wild in our area, perhaps even in your own backyard!
This event is free and open to all ages.
