Register online or at the library and pick up a Passport to Reading.

NEW FOR TEENS (ages 13 – 16) THIS YEAR!
You can participate in both Summer Reading programs or choose the one you like best, the children or adult program.
Earn prizes in each program. Pretty cool, huh?

Story Time Concert with the Chione Woodwind Quintet – June 13th

Story Time Concert with the Chione Woodwind Quintet
Wednesday, June 13th at 1 pm

The Chione Woodwind Quintet will present a story time concert featuring classic children’s stories alongside music of a woodwind quintet. Hands on arts activities for children!

This program is presented in cooperation with a grant from the MN State Arts Board and in partnership with the Mankato Symphony Orchestra.

Easter is on the way, come make an Easter basket and treat box. All supplies are provided.

All ages are welcome to attend. Children ages 12 & under need to be accompanied by and adult.

Chinese music tells a story. Please join us for a great performance with Gao Hong, a Chinese Pipa player. A program for all ages.



Laura MacKenzie – March 2nd

Join us for an evening of Celtic music with Laura MacKenzie on Friday, March 2nd, at 6 pm.

Laura presents traditional music on a fascinating array of wind-powered instruments, including a variety of wooden flutes, tin whistles, various types of bagpipes, concertina, gemshorn and voice.

This program is made possible by a Library Legacy grant.


Nutcracker Story Time

Bring the kids to the library for a special Nutcracker Story Time. Not only will children hear the enchanting story, but they will engage in a physical story time that incorporates dance from the Cannon Falls School of Dance.

The event will concluded with a fun craft sponsored by the Cannon Falls Arts Board.
