  • Pick up a canvas from the CF Library, starting June 1st.
  • Create your mini masterpiece and return it to the library by June 23rd to enter the Tiny Art Show!
  • Submissions will be on display in the library from June 26th -30th, to be voted on by the public.
  • Awards will be given for 1st-3rd place entries.
  • Ages 13 and up.

Instructions & Information:
1) Sign up at the library, or Register Here on the library’s website beginning May 26th.
2) Pick up your Reading Passport from the library.
3) Mark off one square in your Reading Passport for every item you complete.
4) Ages 13 and up.
Using the Reading Passport:
Mark off squares on your own as you complete each item. Most items involve reading a book of a specific type; others may suggest an activity to complete or a library event to attend.  Each book, activity, or event may only be used for one square.
When you have completed four or more items on any one page, bring your Reading Passport into the library to get the back cover stamped, receive a small prize, and enter your name into a drawing for the prize of your choice.
Complete more items to get more pages stamped to receive more prize drawing entries!
Prizes:
Available prizes will be on display in the cabinet near the library front desk. Prize winners will be selected at the end of the reading program through a separate drawing for each of the prizes available.

Join us for a movement-infused, heart-pounding, dynamic group drumming performance by the Enso Daiko ensemble from TaikoArts Midwest. Taiko is the Japanese word for drum and refers to the modern style of playing these drums by combining music, dance, culture, and pure athleticism.

Let’s make art together! This beginner-friendly class will go over painting a canvas with paint, crushed glass, and seashells on an 8×10 canvas.
For ages 13 & up.

Attend in person, or pick-up a kit and watch the video tutorial on the
CF Library YouTube Channel.
Reserve a spot or kit by registering at the CF Library or by calling 507-263-2804 by Friday, May 12th.

Have you ever wanted to find hidden treasure? Join Minnesota historian Doug Ohman on a fun and exciting adventure metal detecting. Doug has developed a hands-on workshop that will allow you to try your luck at this popular hobby. Doug will show you methods he has used to uncover and save history.
This is a fun workshop for all ages! Metal detectors and digging tools will be provided. If you have your own metal detector, please bring it along!

Come celebrate the Library Buildings 10th Anniversary and enjoy a concert with InTandem Duo. An acoustic duo from the Cannon Valley performing a variety of folk, blues, roots, and Americana standards with vocal harmonies on guitars, mandolin, banjo, and baritone uke.
